John Barrow

John is the Chief Financial Officer and brings over 10 years experience in senior finance positions. He is also the CEO and founder of Countex Finance Ltd, who deliver a complete suite of financial services for science and technology-led companies. John leads a team of financial and tax experts who work collaboratively to establish good practices, embed vital processes, and build infrastructure that enables strategic growth. John’s responsibilities at Nexus include: strategic financial planning, Implementing and monitoring budgets, financial reporting and modelling, accountancy and tax compliance, Implementation and monitoring of finance processes, and treasury management. John is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Theoretical Physics.
